In the case of the above picture, I can tell you that many buyers would see this paint color and posters in this bedroom and overlook a LOT of the pluses. First of all, look at the moldings! There is crown molding, thick baseboard and a beautiful wooden valance. PLUS - look at the space and the light! Remember that a gallon of paint only costs about $25.

Sometimes we have to help the buyer to see the qualities in a home. In this case, remove the posters from the walls, de-clutter the top of the dresser and try to make sure as much of the floor is showing as possible. When you are selling your home you live differently then when you are just living.
